As this world wide pandemic of swine flu keeps spreading and more and more people are contracting this sometimes deadly virus, a major concern of the general public has been, is there a cure or a flu treatment for the swine flu. Medical officials are currently working on a vaccine, and as of now those who have tested positive for swine flu have been prescribed anti-viral medications which help lessen symptoms, speed recovery, and slow or even stop reproduction of the virus as a flu treatment. The medications which are being prescribed to those testing positive for swine flu (H1N1) are Amantadine, Rimantadine, Oseltamivir and Zanamivir. These medications have brought relief and flu treatment and if taken early enough and H1N1 is caught early on, medications have made this illness subside quicker then it normally would if taken days into being ill.
